My name is Michael Rommelse.

I live in Helmond close to Eindhoven with my wife Anja and I have 2 children, of which one has already left the ‘nest’. In my spare time, I like to stay fit with running, volleyball and fitness, and afterward sit in the sun with a nice cold drink.

I have been working for Tritium Microbiology for almost 29 years, in which I was able to help the company grow and develop it to what it is now. Since 2017, Tritium has been part of the Xebios Diagnostics Group.

Becoming ONE XDG – merging into Xebios Diagnostics Group in 2023 – is the next step in the evolution of Tritium Microbiology and, for me, as location manager, an exciting task – we never stand still and that keeps the job an interesting challenge. The integration into our group and the harmonization of our quality and product standards will be a valuable step for us and another improvement for our customers.
